A Center for Special Needs in South India is seeking participants starting October 2016!

Participants will be hosted at Shankar Prasad, a spiritual center in the villages behind the beautiful beach town of Gokarna. 

 

This is an amazing opportunity to immerse yourself in beautiful and authentic India and give to the community! 
 

Service Experience includes:

 

• Offering holistic and creative therapies, educational programs, parent support, skills training, and other engaging activities.

• Skills training and management of the organization, or otherwise assigned based on skills and interests.

Immersion Experience includes:

​

• Therapeutic yogic practices including Yoga Nidra, the yoga of psychic sleep, taught by experienced yoga teachers from India and around the globe.

• Daily chanting and meditation

• Excursions including: Sunrise beach meditation, exploring local markets, visit ancient temples, swimming in the sea, boat rides to private beaches, and more.
